Task Six: Into the Arms of Death
The tributes approach a haunting... finale?
After the zombies had fallen, the Faces of the Fallen appear in the sky.

The zombies had been vanquished, leaving the tributes with an uneasy feeling in the air. The bodies of the zombies filled the graveyard, the corpses of a few tributes in their midst. An unfathomable stench filled the air, a mixture of iron and rot deepening the sense of doom.
There was one final task and every tribute knew it all…
It was time for the… grand finale?.
A loud rumbling filled the air, as the crumbling graves around the tributes began to tremble and shake, many of them disappearing into the ashen desolate dirt. As the dust settled into the ground, a large gust of wind swept past the tributes, as numerous wisps of fog began to rise from the ground.

The voices of numerous and familiar faces filled the air, as the spirits of the deceased began to appear around the tributes, faint holograms of the dead.

The chants of the deceased grew louder and louder, the forms materializing and revealing the faces of the dead tributes, the deceased and the unknown.
“Welcome to finale!” The voice of Jason Asher rang through the air, as the dying willow suddenly fell with a sickening crack, miraculously avoiding the tributes.
“May the best tribute win,” Suga Jackel drawled, as a green poisonous gas spewed from the trunk of the fallen tree.
The tributes began to fall one by one… until every single of them was dead.

The hardest part of writing a character in the Hunger Games? Letting go and writing that juicy death scene. While it's always easy to write about your successes, it's much harder to write about your own losses. Whether you choke to death on the fog or choke on your blood after your throat is slit, it's all up to you! Feel free to die however you’d like; this will not impact your health or abilities in finale at all. All your character knows by the end of it? They didn’t win and they’re dead.
There are no in-entry deaths. There are no secret ballots. There are no sponsorship perks.
Gish and Andie will select 2 entries to move onto finale. The voters will choose the remaining finalist.
